About

MNGPS was started by a group of individuals who wanted to preserve the narrow gauge railroad history in the Midwest that has slowly been slipping away from the media and public eye. 

Projects

We currently have two major projects we are working towards as time and funds allow: the Fort Madison & Northwestern Ohio Falls Boxcars and the Des Moines & Minnesota Jackson and Sharp Coach. As we grow, we hope to be able to take on more projects!

Latest Project

Oak wood studs were found for a great price on FB Marketplace and were obtained for the Fort Madison & Northwestern boxcar project.
